Csanád Z. Siklós
Assistant Director and Outreach Specialist
Csanád comes to the University of Wisconsin-Madison via the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he managed the International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS) from 2000-2005. He has extensive experience with the strategic and operational management of a non-profit entity and has done private consulting for the Rosetta Stone and University Language Services. He has a doctorate in Scandinavian Studies from the University of Washington (2002), where he specialized in the Swedish author Pär Lagerkvist. Some of his scholarship appears in the Dictionary of Literary Biography. Csanád speaks native Hungarian, fluent Norwegian, high-level German and reads Swedish, Danish, and French. Csanad manages CES, EUCE and CGES data and the FLAS awards, runs the European Studies certificate program, and performs outreach functions associated with European Studies Alliance centers.
